Kersi Lord Receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2010 It took us a while to get this post up but I'm sure you all will forgive the delay and join me in congratulating my father, Kersi Lord, for winning the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2010 for devoted services to the Indian Film Industry as a Cine Musician. Although Dad has had to wait all these years for this well deserved recognition, I believe 2010 is his year.
On, April 30th, 2010, the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy at the 141st Dadasaheb Phalke Birth Anniversary ceremony also celebrated a host of Hindi film greats such as Dev Anand, Pran, Manoj Kumar, Shreeram Lagoo, Jagdeep, amongst many others. The honourable Chief Guest, Shri Chhagan Bhujbal, presided over the event.
Congratulations Papa! As always, we are so proud of you.
